StandX Review 2026

DEX ☆ 3.5 Updated: 2026-10-04

About StandX

StandX is a perpetual futures DEX that runs an order book on BNB Chain and Solana and uses its own yield-bearing stablecoin, DUSD, as the only margin asset. StandX Perps went live on mainnet on November 24, 2025, after a testnet phase called Alpha. The StandX API listed 13 perpetual markets on October 4, 2026: BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, HYPE, UNI, and ZEC, plus gold (XAU), silver (XAG), crude oil (CL), and the equity markets TSLA, MU, and SPCX. CoinGecko reported about 322 million dollars of 24-hour volume and about 44 million dollars of open interest for StandX on October 4, 2026. StandX charges a 0.01% maker fee and a 0.04% taker fee on every market, with no volume tiers in the published fee schedule. Maximum leverage is 40x on BTC, ETH, gold, silver, and crude oil, 30x on SOL, BNB, and ZEC, and 20x on the remaining markets. Cross and isolated margin are both supported. Users mint DUSD 1:1 with USDT or USDC (minimum 5 dollars), and DUSD held in the Perps Wallet earns yield from staking and from funding on the hedge positions that back it. Redeeming DUSD through StandX takes 7 days and carries a protocol fee. StandX states in its docs that the team is self-funded, has taken no outside investment, and includes members of the Binance Futures founding team. The DUSD issuer is StandX Issuer Ltd, a British Virgin Islands company. StandX runs a points program for traders, makers, and DUSD holders, and its docs say the platform token has not been issued yet. The referral program, called Network Yield, pays 5% to 20% of invited users' trading fees. The docs list six audit reports from WatchPug and RigSec.

Pros & Cons

PROS

  • + Flat fees of 0.01% maker and 0.04% taker on all 13 markets, confirmed by both the StandX fee page and the public API
  • + Margin is held in DUSD, which earns yield from staking and funding payments while it sits in the Perps Wallet, with no staking step
  • + Up to 40x leverage on BTC, ETH, gold (XAU), silver (XAG), and crude oil (CL), with cross and isolated margin modes
  • + Markets go beyond crypto: gold, silver, crude oil, and the equity perpetuals TSLA, MU, and SPCX trade next to BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, HYPE, UNI, and ZEC
  • + Six audit reports from WatchPug and RigSec are linked in the docs, covering the DUSD contracts and the Highway contracts on Solana and EVM

CONS

  • − Only 13 perpetual markets as of October 4, 2026, and no spot trading
  • − DUSD is the only collateral, and redeeming it for USDT or USDC through StandX has a 7-day lock and a protocol fee; the faster exit is a swap on PancakeSwap or Raydium at the market price
  • − 24-hour volume of about 322 million dollars against open interest of about 44 million dollars (CoinGecko, October 4, 2026) is a ratio above 7 to 1 while a points program rewards trading, and the StandX docs still cite roughly 700 million dollars of daily volume
  • − The Terms and Conditions block the US, the UK, Russia, and more than 30 other jurisdictions, and withdrawals are processed by StandX after an on-chain request, so they are not fully self-executed by the user

Frequently Asked Questions

What are StandX trading fees?

StandX charges a 0.01% maker fee and a 0.04% taker fee on the notional value of each trade. The same rates apply to all 13 markets in the public API, and the docs publish no volume tiers. A 0.2 BTC market order at 100,000 dollars costs 8 dollars in fees. Liquidations carry a 1.25% clearance fee.

Does StandX require KYC?

No, trading on StandX does not require KYC. Users connect a wallet such as MetaMask or Phantom, deposit DUSD, and trade. The Terms and Conditions let the DUSD issuer require KYC and AML checks for buying or redeeming DUSD directly with the issuer, and they block residents of the US, the UK, Russia, and other listed jurisdictions.

Is StandX safe?

StandX has six published audit reports from WatchPug and RigSec, and no hack of the protocol has been reported. The risks are specific: the order book and withdrawal processing are run by StandX, DUSD depends on hedge positions and a custodian, and the exchange has operated on mainnet only since November 2025.

What leverage does StandX offer?

StandX offers up to 40x leverage on BTC, ETH, gold, silver, and crude oil. SOL, BNB, and ZEC are capped at 30x, and HYPE, UNI, TSLA, MU, and SPCX at 20x. The default margin table cuts the limit to 20x above 1 million dollars of position size and to 10x above 10 million dollars.

What is DUSD on StandX?

DUSD is the stablecoin StandX uses as margin. Users mint it 1:1 with USDT or USDC on BNB Chain or Solana, with a 5 dollar minimum and no minting fee. StandX backs it with spot assets and short futures positions, and pays the staking and funding income to holders. Redemption takes 7 days.

How does the StandX referral program work?

The StandX referral program is called Network Yield. It activates after 500,000 DUSD of personal trading volume and pays 5% of invited users' trading fees, rising to 10%, 15%, and 20% at 2.5 million, 7.5 million, and 15 million DUSD of network volume. The referrer chooses how much of that share goes back to invitees as a rebate.

Does StandX have a token?

No, StandX has not issued a platform token. The docs state that the token is not live yet and that makers accrue platform token allocation daily under the Community Maker Yield program. Traders, makers, and DUSD holders also earn points, and point emission rates were halved on May 24, 2026 and again on August 10, 2026.
